Obscuring or Asserting Red Culture Passing on Red Culture in Contemporary China

红色文化是中华民族宝贵的精神财富, 传承红色文化是中国共产党的文化自觉。 红色文化传承的运行逻辑表明红色文化价值彰显的重要性, 但在红色文化传承中, 当代文化反哺现象导致的 “ 代际困局”、 社会需要变迁带来的 “ 价值困惑”、 多重文化竞争引发的 “ 选择困境”, 造成了红色文化的价值遮蔽,形成了传承阻滞。 凸显价值优势的红色文化内涵历史化、 赢得传播效能的传播现代化是去除价值遮蔽, 实现红色文化当代传承的有效路径。

Abstract:

Red culture is the precious spiritual wealth of the Chinese nation，and it is the Communist Party of China（CPC） _'s cultural consciousness to inherit and pass on red culture. The modes of inheritance consist of external transmission and internal transmission. The operation of the two modes shows that identification with red culture is an important link in its inheritance and the basic logic behind is that red culture can help meet the social needs of the inheritor?s era and answer the questions raised by the era which is the value of red culture that makes it deserve inheritance. However due to the changes of the times the value of red culture that can meet the needs of the times and answer its problems has been obscured by various factors. In contemporary China，the first factor concerns the inheritor _'s behavior pattern of accepting external culture：some young people pass on modern culture to the older generation，but they are indifferent to the red culture passed on to them by the older generation，which is the_“inter-generational dilemma_”of red culture inheritance caused by cultural feedback. The second is the inheritors _' prediction of the value of red culture. As the generation who developed red culture lived in an early and different era from today the inheritors have confusion and misjudgment about whether red culture can meet the needs of their times and answer its problems resulting in the _“value confusion_” . The third is the cultural choice of inheritors facing social problems. Red culture is in the midst of exchanging， integrating and confronting with multiple cultures. Inheritors not only have a variety of cultural choices，and other cultures may even distort，vilify and negate red culture. This is the _“choice dilemma_” of red culture inheritance. To remove these negative factors，the following strategies need to be adopted： First， highlight the red cultural value through the historicization of red culture， which refers to the consideration of red culture in the long river of cultural history. Through comparative research，we need to rediscover the unique historical value and comparative advantage of red cultural elements，and find ways to integrate these cultural elements into the excellent Chinese culture so that they become an integral part of China _'s excellent cultural tradition. Secondly，we need to improve the efficiency of inheritance through the modernization of red culture communication，which means that we can respond to the psychological preference of the young generation by modernizing red culture communication carriers，technologies and skills.
